DefaultCurs is a utility for changing the standard cursor (the hand) in any stack. Unlike other utilities, such as the changeCursor XCMDs that change the cursor only until reset by HyperCard, DefaultCurs changes the standard cursor permanently for any stack in which it is installed. The cursor change can be reversed by removing defaultCurs' resources from the stack.

DefaultCurs is useful, for example, if you want to use the arrow as the standard/default cursor in a stack, thus making it conform more closely to traditional Mac interface guidelines. This stack contains the arrow as the default cursor, and instructions for making any other cursor the default.
